Jonathan Kissam

I make web tools to change the world.

Let me introduce myself »

What I Do

I make websites and web applications. I specialize in constituent relationship management (CRM) systems, mostly to facilitate labor and community organizing. Technologies I use »

I help organizations assess their communications and technology needs, and meet those needs in a cost-effective and sustainable manner.

If you think I can be of help to you or your organization, please contact me.

For most websites I use content managements systems including Wordpress and Drupal. For microsites and lightweight web applications I will often use php and php frameworks like Silex, or single-page apps using HTML5 and Javascript.

For constituent relationship management, I mostly use the open-source CiviCRM. I also work with Action Network and NationBuilder.

Grassroots Global Justice

Grassroots Global Justice website

The Grassroots Global Justice Alliance (GGJ) is a national alliance of US-based grassroots organizing (GRO) groups organizing to build an agenda for power for working and poor people and communities of color. In 2015 I build a new theme for the GGJ's Drupal 7 website, which pulls in social media feeds from Twitter, Facebook and Wordpress.
